We celebrated Valentines Day in Kuai this year! We did our favoirte things like, snorkeling and boogie boarding and even discovered some new beaches to relax on as did several monk seals! They have the right idea! We decided to try a new adventure and booked ourselves on a zip line and kayak tour! It was a blast! Craig, better known as "batman" hung upside down on his turn. I felt good just going the "normal" way...and tried to let go and flap my wings like a bird but the need to hold on overpowered my good intentions. We hiked the Napali coast on a different side of the island and enjoyed a spectacular view!

Eleven Grandchildren! Wow! Aren't they a cute bunch! Craig wants to entitle the two in the silver pot with "I said 90-10!" If any of you have watched the show Hitch you will understand! Ha Ha! Summer 2009 brought us all together. It is not an easy task to get 100% attendance and all smiling for the picture! Thanks to a talented photographer we have this wonderful picture to share with you. We had to photo shop Jessica into the picture as she was in South Dakota when we took this picture. Technology is great! Families are great!

Number 11 grandchild arrives on April 10, 2009

William James Christian. What a blessing!

So grateful he arrived safely to his loving earthly parents Tyler and Crystal. Wonderful things arrive in big packages too! He suprised us but didn't quite hit the record birth weight his dad set at 10 10 1/2 pounds. We were so grateful to be there for his blessing day. A very special memory for all.

Went to Bend Oregon Friday, March 13th to go snow skiing. Found myself in front of a huge bear wanting a hug! Thank goodness it was stuffed! We had a wonderful day skiing. The sun was shinning, the sky was blue, fresh powder, and we were able to go to the top of the mountain. Being there brought back lots of memories when we took family ski trips to Bend. Dad and I were the last ones off the mountain....and our bodies are thankful for hot tubs and tylenol!
